Founded in 1990 by Wilbur Hobgood, Hobgood Construction has long been defined by a commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and enduring relationships.

After decades of building alongside his father, David Hobgood established ownership of the firm — continuing a legacy shaped through experience, trust, and a shared dedication to the craft.

As a family-led builder, our work is deeply personal. Each home is approached as a singular expression of vision and collaboration, where thoughtful execution and attention to detail guide every decision. We build with intention — balancing design, function, and longevity to create homes that feel as enduring as the relationships behind them.

David Hobgood

President

Since joining Hobgood Construction in 2005 as a Superintendent, David Hobgood has built an impressive career in the construction industry. He progressed to the role of Project Manager, then to Vice President, and now as President oversees all daily operations and project management. David's career spans the complete spectrum of construction, including custom luxury homes, remodeling, commercial projects, and industrial work.

Wilbur Hobgood

Founder

Wilbur Hobgood is the Founder of Hobgood Construction, Inc. and has been in construction for over 45 years. His projects have earned 16 Gold Coast Builders Association PRISM Awards for excellence in construction. Wilbur has successfully completed over 400 new custom home builds and an equally impressive remodeling resume, with over 2,000,000 square feet of construction expertise. Wilbur remains actively involved in daily quality control processes.
